Crumpets Tea Room is available for private parties i.e. planned giving seminars, business luncheons, product demonstrations, fundraisers, birthdays, baby and bridal showers any day and time you would like to plan it. A $100 deposit to hold the date, a pre-planned menu and a $50 room rental fee is all that is required. Your $100 deposit will be deducted from your final bill. Our seating capacity is 22 people. We would love to host your special event.
TEA SELECTIONS:
Blended Teas
Earl Gray – A delicately scented
blend of large leaf black teas and oil of Bergamot. Renowned for it’s
fragrance, it is the connoisseur’s favorite among scented teas.
English Breakfast - This blend of several small leaf teas from India and
Ceylon results in a robust, full -flavored taste that makes it a favorite
breakfast tea.
Irish Breakfast - This unique blend of small and large leaf Assam teas results
in a strong, full-bodied brew with a brisk, almost malty taste.
Russian Caravan - This blend of black teas is a take on the centuries old
tea blend that was so sought after in Russia that special caravans were commissioned
to deliver it to the Czar. This special blend contains no smoky aromas.
Boston Harbour Tea - A fine blend of select Ceylon and Darjeeling teas. Britain’s
oldest tea merchant, Davison, Newman & Co., whose tea chests were destroyed
in the 1774 tea party, still operates today and has developed this famous
blend of tea.
Iced Tea Blend - This special blend of Ceylon, China and Java teas produces
a refreshing glass of iced tea every time. It yields a full rich flavor with
superior clarity.
Black Teas from India, Ceylon & China
Darjeeling - Grown in the high-altitude foothills of
the Himalayas, this is India’s finest tea. Often called the “Queen of Indian Teas”,
the infused leaf has a coppery-red sparkle with a sweet and fruity aroma.
Darjeeling is a full-bodied tea that has a unique aftertaste.
Assam - This tea is produced in the largest growing region in Northern India,
Assam. Its pungent liquor brews to a dark-reddish color, leaving a full-bodied
cup with a malty taste that is truly unique.
Cheericup Ceylon - Our House Tea. This whole leaf Ceylon is a delicious tea
with a full, almost brisk flavor.
China Keemun - A full-bodied yet mellow black tea with
a lively bouquet. Keemun is renowned as one of China’s finest black
teas. When brewed, it produces a dark red cup and makes a great ice tea.
China Lapsang Souchong - This rare, long leaf tea gains
its distinctive “tarry” flavor
and smoky tang from the pine fires over which it is dried. Rich in taste
and smoky aroma, it produces a deep red liquor when brewed.
Flavored & Spiced Black Teas
Peach/Apricot - A blend of high-grown Ceylon black teas with natural
peach and apricot flavoring.
Raspberry - A rich whole-leaf Anhui black tea with raspberry flavoring.
Indian Spiced Chai - Premium black teas and fragrant spices - ginger, cinnamon,
allspice, nutmeg, cloves and cardamom, combine for exotic taste and aroma.
Traditionally enjoyed with milk and sugar.
Green Teas
China Jasmine - A semi-fermented tea, gently touched with Jasmine blossoms picked at the peak of their bloom.White Teas
China Mutan White - A tea comprised of silvery, downy buds and green leaves. The buds are hand picked before the leaf opens, then gently steamed. The brew is delicate and mellow, with a light pale color. White tea contains the same antioxidants found in green tea.
